I grew up playing tennis in Albury/Wodonga. As a junior I competed in many tournaments, and based on my national ranking was awarded a U.S College Scholarship. After a successful college playing career, I coached at a health and racquet club in Oklahoma City, before returning to Melbourne in 2000. I hold a Bachelor and Masters degree in Physical Education as well as a Graduate Diploma in Education. I recently completed the Tennis Australia Master Club Profesional qualification. I have been coaching at West Brunswick and Glencairn Tennis Clubs for 15 years. I’m passionate about teaching tennis. I love making my classes interesting, fun, challenging and rewarding. I enjoy seeing my students improve and endeavour to provide a pathway for every individual to fullfill their potential.
Hi, my name is Chris and I have been coaching at West Brunswick and Glencairn Tennis Club for the past 6 years. My passion for tennis started as a junior at West Brunswick Tennis club and I have been playing there for the past 20 years. I am a certified Tennis Australia Level 1 Coach, have completed a Bachelor of Science and Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness.
I aim to make my lessons fun and engaging whilst also focusing on skill and technique. Coaching is a passion of mine because as I help students develop their tennis skills they also learn about resilience, decision making and teamwork
Hi, my name is Sebastien and I have been coaching at West Brunswick Tennis Club for two years. I am originally from France where I received my certification and have coached tennis for 15 years. I have coached players of all ages, from 5 to 18 years and adults, both individually and in groups. In 2002, I was certified to coach young players, aged 8 to 13 years, who were in pre-professional training in France. This level of coaching includes both on-court coaching sessions and attending competitions with these players to review their performance and technique.
I am passionate about tennis and my goal is to transfer that life-long passion to my students. My coaching approach balances fun and challenge, focusing on building high level skill and technique while nurturing my students’ love for the game.
