I grew up playing tennis in Albury/Wodonga. As a junior I competed in many tournaments, and based on my national ranking was awarded a U.S College Scholarship. After a successful college playing career, I coached at a health and racquet club in Oklahoma City, before returning to Melbourne in 2000. I hold a Bachelor and Masters degree in Physical Education as well as a Graduate Diploma in Education. I recently completed the Tennis Australia Master Club Professional qualification. I have been coaching at West Brunswick and Glencairn Tennis Clubs for 15 years. I’m passionate about teaching tennis. I love making my classes interesting, fun, challenging and rewarding. I enjoy seeing my students improve and endeavour to provide a pathway for every individual to fullfill their potential.

I began playing tennis when I was 13 years old and went on to play college level tennis in Japan. In 2013 I became a member of the West Brunswick Tennis Club and joined the Sure Shot coaching team in 2022.

I like to make my lessons challenging, fun and engaging and really enjoy seeing my students achieve their goals and develop their skills. I am an approachable person and am passionate about getting people at all levels involved in the game.

I recently completed my Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach qualifications and also possess a Bachelor of Education.

In my playing career I have achieved a National College tennis ranking in Japan and won an NSNTA Doubles competition for WBTC.

Since 2012, I have been coaching at West Brunswick and Glencairn Tennis Club. My passion for tennis started as a junior at West Brunswick Tennis club and I have been playing there for the past 20 years. I am a certified Tennis Australia Level 1 Coach, have completed a Bachelor of Science and Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness.

I aim to make my lessons fun and engaging whilst also focusing on skill and technique. Coaching is a passion of mine because as I help students develop their tennis skills they also learn about resilience, decision making and teamwork.

Hi, I'm Tigerlily and I've played tennis my entire life. Some of my favourite memories are playing tennis for my school and competing with my friends. One of my proudest achievements is when I played with our school team who won the 2022 season, undefeated. I have learned so many skills from my tennis coaches, who have inspired me to start coaching too! I want to be a coach because it has had such a positive influence on my love for the game.

My coaching style is about making sessions fun and engaging to spark students love for the game.

Off the court I'm a full-time uni student studying a bachelor of International Studies. I also enjoy running and spending time with family and friends. 

My favourite players are Alex de Minaur and Daria Saville.

While working at Hagley Park Tennis Club in NZ to support my studies, I realised coaching was my true passion. In 2020, I moved to Australia where I joined the Sure Shot coaching team.

During my career, I have coached numerous regional and national age group representatives in New Zealand and have a goal to develop our young Sure Shot players to compete in future Super10s competitions.
I pride myself on being a positive role and love building confidence in people of all ages. The highlight of my week is watching our young players compete on Saturday mornings.There is nothing better than witnessing people improve on the tennis court and watching their self-confidence subsequently grow.

I have played tennis for as long as I can remember and always love being out on court. I have played at APS first division level and gained a 3rd place in my final year with the school team.

My passion for coaching is not only because I love the game, but because its a great feeling to watch players improve their game.

My coaching style is centred on a lot of hitting and match-play combined with focusing on the fundamentals of serving, rallying and transitioning to the net.

On the court my favourite thing is to come in and volley.

Off the court I enjoy spending time with family, playing soccer and listening to music. 

My favourite players are Nadal (love his determination and attitude) and Sabalenka (great to watch her very offensive game style).

After retiring from playing representative cricket for 15 years, I took up tennis at the age of 42 and fell in love with the game.

In 2019 I moved to Singapore and played in the Women's International Tennis competition, where I developed my game with talented coaches from Spain and New Zealand.  Success followed with a 2019 competition title win in A-Grade WITS and winning the 2022 FTC Women's Singles Club Championship at FTC on my return to Australia.  I joined the Sure Shot Tennis coaching team in January 2022 and enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others to assist them to achieve their personal goals in the sport.

I am a qualified Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach and want to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable to learn, play and enjoy tennis. 

Milla has been training with our coaching staff over the past year and is now a qualified tennis coach after completing her Community Coaching Certificate.
